BOVEN DIGOEL – Tunas Sawa Erma Group (TSE Group) introduced Asiki high schoolers to investing during its Social Education event. Students were taught proper money management, which would help them achieve financial freedom.
For the company, early investing learning is key to building a more financially-aware generation, helping young ones spot and grasp investment opportunities, and protecting kids from scams.
Aside from investing basics, this visit included other subjects on general knowledge and that are staple to the Social Education program, like Civics, Social Media Use, and English for Fun. First aid training was also held by dr. Firman Jayawijaya from Asiki Clinic.
The event took place on 12, 14, and 15 November 2022 at Asiki public elementary, junior high, and senior high school in Jair District (South Papua). It comprises a part of the company’s Corporate Social Contribution (CSC) program, and shows concern for South Papua’s educational climate.
In between lessons, TSE Group’s PPA MGT PR General Manager Park Jibae delivered a short message to the audience. He said students must work harder if they wish to reach their dreams. Park also took part in presenting a prize following a quiz session, where an indigenous student won. “I am telling you all, don’t easily give up on your goals. Aim beyond the stars, so even when you fall, you’ll still land among them,”
Mr. Park Jibae handed over the quiz prize to motivate student at Asiki Public Junior High School
