BOVEN DIGOEL – Honoring Eid al-Adha, Tunas Sawa Erma (TSE) Group demonstrated a commitment to well-being improvement in its operational areas by donating 15 qurban cows to nearby mosques.
This move reflects a sense of solidarity and empathy for local communities, and is one of the company’s ways to uphold Pancasila values in religious occasions.
The cows would be slaughtered at each mosque, with meat divided into portions for people in need.
“[This donation] is part of efforts to build rapport with the locals. We hope to relieve your burden of providing meat and bring joy and blessings on this meaningful day,” said TSE Group’s General Manager Jemmy Senduk at one of the donation ceremonies in Asiki Subvillage, Jair District, Boven Digoel Regency (South Papua) on Friday (6/6).
Donation recipients and mosque caretakers were all welcoming. Aside from Senduk, there were other TSE Group representatives, whose presence further strengthened the sense of togetherness and bond between the company and community amid Eid al-Adha celebrations.
Mohaimin, who spearheads a “welfare committee” at Al-Hidayah Mosque, was part of the list of recipients. He appreciated the attention given by TSE Group.
“Thank you, TSE Group, for paying attention to our religious and social life. May Allah accept your charity and bless every one of us.”
This event marked yet another dedication from the palm oil company toward improving the local community’s well-being.
