SOUTH PAPUA – TSE Group, through its Corporate University, organized a Basic Leadership Training to improve the leadership competencies of employees from various subsidiaries and operational locations. The event took place recently at the Corporate University Building.
This training is part of the company’s efforts to prepare human resources equipped with leadership skills and ready to face future work challenges.
During the training, participants attended various interactive learning sessions delivered by the company’s internal trainers. The materials provided covered basic leadership, effective communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and the development of a responsible attitude in the workplace.
The General Manager of HRD-Personnel of TSE Group, Salesius Jemaru, stated that leadership is not only related to position but also to a person’s ability to exert a positive influence in the work environment.
“Leadership is not just about position, but about how someone is able to exert a positive influence, build cooperation, and be a good example in the work environment. We hope this training can provide new enthusiasm and broaden the participants’ horizons to continue growing,” he said.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Corporate University, Mohamad Fauzi, said the training aimed to develop human resources who possess not only technical skills but also communication skills and a leadership spirit.
“Through this training, we want to develop company personnel who not only have technical skills but are also able to think positively, communicate well, and possess a leadership spirit in every job responsibility,” he said.
One of the training participants, Eksan Mashuri from the Docking Carpenter Division, admitted to gaining many benefits while participating in the event.
“I feel very happy to be included in a training like this. In addition to gaining a lot of knowledge about leadership, I also got to know more friends from subsidiaries and other locations,” he said.
Through this training, TSE Group hopes that participants can apply the knowledge they have acquired in their daily work and continue to develop into individuals who are more confident, responsible, and ready to become leaders in the future. (Corpu)
