SOUTH PAPUA – Tunas Sawa Erma (TSE) Group continues to reinforce its commitment to the education sector in South Papua by implementing various educational programs for elementary, middle, and high school students residing near its operational areas. These programs are integral to the company’s ongoing efforts to elevate the quality of human resources and expand educational access for the youth of Papua.
“We want the children of Papua to believe that a bright future awaits them. Education is the bridge to their dreams, and we are committed to being a part of that journey,” stated Daniel Sim Ayomi, General Manager of TSE Group.
One of TSE Group’s flagship initiatives is the Social Education program. Through this initiative, the company delivers learning materials that are thoughtfully designed to be creative, interactive, and enjoyable. Students are encouraged to participate in a variety of activities, ranging from educational games and motivational sessions to interactive quizzes and engaging discussions.
The curriculum extends beyond general knowledge, placing a strong emphasis on character building. It highlights essential values such as discipline, self-confidence, a passion for learning, and the courage to dream big. Furthermore, it actively encourages students to steer clear of negative influences, including substance abuse.
The Social Education program has been warmly received by local educational institutions. Hermanus Wamte, S.Pd., Principal of SMP Negeri Jair (Jair State Middle School), noted that the initiative has significantly benefited both the students and the school’s overall learning environment.
“As educators, we observe the tremendous positive impact this activity has on our school. We are highly enthusiastic and fully support the company’s continuous and positive initiatives for the children. Educational programs like this are rare, if not entirely unprecedented, in our school, which is why we extend our deepest gratitude to TSE Group,” Hermanus expressed on Saturday (May 9, 2026).

According to Hermanus, the program plays a crucial role in helping students understand the importance of shielding themselves from detrimental influences that could derail their academic progress and future prospects.
“This activity is incredibly beneficial for our students, as it equips them to avoid negative behaviors that could be harmful to themselves. Consequently, their learning process and their drive to achieve their aspirations remain uninterrupted, ensuring their future is well-secured,” he added.
Through the Social Education program, TSE Group actively supports the continuous improvement of human capital starting from an early school age. The presence of this program is anticipated to inspire Papuan children to build confidence in their studies and relentlessly pursue their goals.
TSE Group reiterates that supporting education is a core component of its mission to make a positive contribution to the communities surrounding its operational areas. This is particularly focused on cultivating a young Papuan generation characterized by strong morals, broad perspectives, and a readiness to embrace the future. (PR)
