BOVEN DIGOEL – Joy was in the air as Cenderawasih PAUD (the local equivalent of pre-school) celebrated the graduation of its Class of 2024 Tuesday (5/28), along with parents, staff, and PAL (Papua Agro Lestari) representatives. It was the school’s seventh graduation ceremony.
Cenderawasih PAUD is among the schools receiving tool and facility assistance from the Tunas Sawa Erma subsidiary in Ulilin District, Merauke Regency (South Papua Province). From class equipment, teaching tools, to stationery, these aids ease the teaching-learning process and help enhance early education quality.
PAL’s general manager Hassanudin Patiroy said he was proud of the students’ achievements. “We will always commit to supporting education for children near our site,” he said.
Person-in-charge of Cenderawasih PAUD, Gaugerika Katwaip, appreciated PAL’s concerns about improving education quality at its operational location and in South Papua.
The event ended with a tassel turning, performed by the principal, and a group photo of the graduating batch, parents, school staff, and PAL reps.
Putting social responsibility at the forefront, both TSE Group and PAL continue to innovate through Corporate Social Contribution as they seek to build a more sustainable society. (PR)
