BOVEN DIGOEL – On behalf of TSE Group, subsidiary Berkat Cipta Abadi (BCA) mobilized its clinic team to Aiwat Subvillage, Subur District, Boven Digoel Regency Saturday (6/30) for a health outreach program and monthly communication session.
Aiwat is difficult to reach, with access to the area limited by poor road infrastructure. Residents obtain healthcare by traveling long distances to the nearest facility. This reality drove South Papua-based TSE Group to conduct regular medical outreach, as it does with other remote subvillages to ensure better healthcare provision in the province.
Led by dr. Rizal Irsan, the clinic team administered full health checks on more than 34 children and their parents. Patients then received free medicines tailored to their specific needs.
This initiative reaped praises from the local community. One member, Kaitanus Tinggin, felt that with so few clinics and any other medical facilities in his town, TSE Group’s mobile health service has “made it really possible” to meet his needs for medication.
“It’s a great service, [as you can see] we’ve been struggling to get the help we need when we need it. We’re used to seeking treatment at the posyandu (state-run clinic catering to pregnant women, the elderly, and toddlers)… but its services are not as extensive as at the company [clinic]. [So,] we’re grateful TSE Group has come and served us,” said Kaitanus.
In addition to health checks, the company provided nutrient-rich meals and introduced personal hygiene and health habits. This education session emphasized the importance of maintaining personal and environmental hygiene, as well as a healthy diet and lifestyle to prevent diseases and improve quality of life.

Both the free health service and monthly communication session take place on a periodic basis. They are a key source of community ideas and concerns, which the company may incorporate into its people-focused programs for more effective results.
“TSE Group stresses the importance of health and education in building a better future for Papuan children. We believe that good health enables optimal learning, and quality education opens doors to the children’s future,” he said.
Through Corporate Social Contribution (CSC), TSE Group is committed to providing sustainable healthcare while fostering strong partnerships with local communities. By adopting a harmonious approach across all aspects, combining medical services, health education, and active communication, the company seeks to contribute to better living standards in South Papua.
