BOVEN DIGOEL – Members of water-stressed Subur Subvillage can now rest easy as a communal pump has been installed in the area, thanks to PT Berkat Cipta Abadi (BCA).
No longer do they need to fetch supplies from the forest — a task so labor-intensive it disrupts day-to-day routines for stay-at-home parents.
With poor water access affecting hygiene, health, and work, having pumps at key locations will help ease distribution and improve life quality.
“We believe clean water is a basic right. It’s the reason why we donated this pump and we expect it to provide optimum, long-term relief for water issues,” said Dian Silitubun, who represented BCA on Friday (11/7) for the handover.

A village official, Saverius Aute, said he’s “deeply grateful” for the support.
“On behalf of the Subur community, I would like to extend my deepest gratitude to PT Berkat Cipta Abadi. This donation means so much to us, it [would] make our daily lives less difficult.”
This Tunas Sawa Erma (TSE) Group subsidiary hopes to bring lasting improvements in the community’s living standards. (PR)
