MERAUKE – PT Berkat Cipta Abadi (BCA), a part of Tunas Sawa Erma (TSE) Group, has snatched a provincial-level corporate social responsibility (CSR) award at the government-run Dialog Investasi 2025 (2025 Investment Dialogue) at Swiss-Belhotel Merauke.
South Papua Governor Apolo Safanpo attended alongside regency government reps, local government agency leaders, and business owners and investors operating in South Papua.
Safanpo and his officials awarded BCA for its CSR programs, calling them “effective, sustainable, and impactful”. These programs cover community needs spanning education, healthcare, basic infrastructure, and economic empowerment.

The award plaque was presented to TSE Group’s Director Joonghwan Kim, who said it “strengthened” the company’s commitment to endorsing regional development.
“As an established business in South Papua, we are dedicated to upholding our community social commitments and CSR programs to deliver on our social responsibilities,” said Kim on Tuesday (1/20) at TSE Group’s office in Asiki Subvillage (Jair District, Boven Digoel Regency).
BCA’s win occurred amid a series of investment growth last year that recorded a spike in capital projects and employment.
In response to this trend, the South Papuan government has initiated improvements to investment-supporting facilities, and faster construction of key infrastructure to expand economic access and support sustainable growth in eastern Indonesia. (*)
