BOVEN DIGOEL  TSE Group subsidiary PT Berkat Cipta Abadi (BCA) makes social and environmental contributions, including staple item donations for vulnerable communities like single orphans and the elderly.

Each month, kits containing rice, cooking oil, granulated sugar, and other essentials are distributed to enrolled beneficiaries under the company’s Corporate Social Contribution (CSC) program.

The latest donation was made Friday (1/30) to the subvillages of Subur, Aiwat, Selil, and Muting, communities outside BCA’s site in Boven Digoel and Merauke.

“We’re aware of the impact of rising staples prices on those seeking the most help. We hope our kits can soften that impact for older people and kids whose fathers have passed away and can no longer care for them,” said BCA rep Dian Silitubun at the distribution ceremony.

These donations were met with gratitude and hopes that they could help circumvent the high prices of foods.

“I deeply thank the company [for] the valuable donation for local senior citizens and single orphans, especially when everything is expensive nowadays,” said Subur Subvillage government official Thobias Ketaerop.

This CSC program is part of BCA’s ongoing commitment to promoting better community welfare.

It focuses on meeting basic needs and demonstrates efforts to ensure safety and support for people needing special attention. (PR)
