SOUTH HALMAHERA – PT Gelora Mandiri Membangun (PT GMM) distributed 2,000 milk products through three community health centers (Puskesmas) in the vicinity of the company’s operational area on Wednesday (September 30, 2026). This assistance represents the company’s social commitment to the communities within the health centers’ service areas.

The assistance was channeled through the Gane Barat Selatan District Health Center, Gane Timur Selatan District Health Center, and Kepulauan Joronga District Health Center. The service areas of these three health centers encompass a total of eight villages.

Distribution through the community health centers is expected to expand the reach of the assistance to the communities in their respective service areas. Furthermore, the milk products will be distributed to beneficiary families to be utilized according to their needs.

PT GMM Director, Jibae Park, stated that the company’s involvement in community social activities is part of an ongoing effort to foster positive relationships with the communities surrounding the operational area.

“PT GMM aims to continuously build strong partnerships with the government and healthcare facilities within our operational regions. We hope this support can be optimally utilized and provide substantial benefits to the receiving families,” remarked Jibae Park.

Meanwhile, the Regent of South Halmahera, Hasan Ali Bassam Kasuba, expressed his appreciation for PT GMM’s support of various initiatives that yield benefits for the local community.

According to him, the involvement of the corporate sector is an integral part of a collective effort to strengthen various public service and community empowerment programs.

“Efforts to improve social welfare require support from multiple stakeholders. The backing of the corporate sector, such as PT GMM, forms a part of our shared concern for the community,” the Regent stated.

The distribution through these three community health centers serves as a testament to the synergy between PT GMM and healthcare facilities in the vicinity of the operational area. With a service coverage extending to eight villages, the health centers act as vital liaisons to ensure the support is effectively received by the communities in the Gane Barat Selatan, Gane Timur Selatan, and Kepulauan Joronga regions.
