MERAUKE – April 12, 2025, is a date Sesilius Barue will never forget. It’s the day he finally moved to his new home in the village of Getentiri, Jair District, Boven Digoel Regency. The man vividly recalled how his living situation had been, with pillars close to collapse and roofs leaking from time to time. It was a situation so dire that he feared for the lives of his wife and kids.
This is why Tunas Sawa Erma Group’s aid means a lot to Sesilius. He joyfully thanked the company, “I’m beyond grateful. For years, we lived in a house that’s on the verge of crumbling down, and now, our kids have a safer, nicer place to stay.”
Building a home for Sesilius Barue is how Tunas Sawa Erma (TSE) Group shows concern for locals. Such initiative has allowed those living in uninhabitable conditions to enjoy sturdy, decent housing.
It’s also part of an effort by the company to promote better resident well-being through basic need fulfillment.
“We believe companies are responsible for their business and surrounding environment. This housing assistance embodies compassion and sharing, which are the values we uphold,” said TSE Group’s Public Relations executive Park Jibae.
