Training on proper and sustainable oil palm plantation management skills organized by TSE group on Monday (21/3).

BOVEN DIGOEL, March 23, 2022 – Tunas Sawa Erma (TSE) Group held a job training program for the indigenous Papuans (OAP). The 10 indigenous Papuans, who have graduated from school, will join the training program for the next 3 months without charge. In order to support the training program, the company also provided lodging and equipment facilities for all participants. Afterward, the training participants will later be hired to work at TSE Group.

“TSE hopes that this training can provide guidance for the indigenous Papuans to improve knowledge, ability, self-discipline, and diligence at work,” General Manager of TSE Group, Sungtaek Bae, said in his speech.

As explained by Bae, his team has prepared theoretical and practical materials on oil palm plantation management as best as possible, so that participants can understand the provided materials and apply them at work.

The CSC/CSR activity initiated by the company received appreciation from various parties. One of the participants, Mentek Kenakop, expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to participate in the training activity.

“Thank you to TSE Group for welcoming us to join the training. I hope the training activity for the next 3 months can run well so it can bring good results as an example for the juniors who will join the next training program,” said Kenakop.

On the same occasion, another training participant named Natalia Neneng Kawab expressed her hope that this activity can run smoothly, so that the program can develop human resources that are disciplined, independent, and insightful so as to create new innovations.

Training activities of this kind received full support from the Vice Chief of Kawab Clan, Harun Kawab. “We would like to thank the company for providing motivation and encouragement that will be beneficial for our children in the future.
