Tunas Sawa Erma (TSE) Group pays special attention to environmental issues, including waste issues. One of the efforts made is to conduct trials of maggot caterpillar cultivation to reduce organic waste. The maggot caterpillar comes from the Black Soldier Fly (BSF) or black soldier fly. These insects are able to process organic matter naturally into basic ingredients for biological fertilizers that can be useful for the agricultural, livestock and fishery sectors.
